Q. What is inspiring you this season?

This season, I have been taking inspiration from just about anywhere. I enjoy seeing other women’s street style, so that I can get inspiration from the way others style their clothing, and make it my own. Also, I am a big fan of online inspiration. I love looking through all of the top fashion sites and incorporating styles I see online and bringing them to life from clothing in my closet. 

Q. What is your style philosophy?

Always incorporate your personality into your wardrobe. It is very easy for people to dress exactly like a celebrity, or a blogger, and call it a day. But I think it is important to make every look your own. 

Q. What is your idea of a perfect weekend look?

The perfect weekend look for me would have to be jeans, heels, an over sized blouse and a leather moto jacket. Simple and fashionable with a touch of edge.

Q. How would you describe your personal style?

My personal style would have to describe as comfy yet chic.

Q. What is your must have item this season?

My must have item this season is definitely a leather moto jacket. I have built up quite the collection so I find myself reaching for them often this season.

Q. How do you take a look from day to night?

In order to take a look from day to night, I would opt for flats during the day time and change into a pair of heels for the night. Changing shoes instantly vamps up an outfit. 

Q. Do you have any secret styling tricks?

I think the best styling secret I have is “anything that you wear, wear it with confidence”. If you don’t feel confident in what you wear, people will notice. So dress in what makes you happy, that way you walk around with self-assurance and feel great about yourself! 

Q. What is the best styling advice you can share?

Dress for your body type. We are all different shapes, heights and sizes, which means that we have to find out what is best for our body type and what flatters us most. 

Q. What is your biggest fashion faux pas?

One of my biggest fashion faux pas’ is when I see someone wearing socks with sandals. I just want to tell them to either wear close-toed shoes, or take off the socks. It’s one or the other.

Q. How do you wear Haute Hippie? 

I wear Haute Hippie everywhere! Running errands, going to a party, a dinner date, attending a wedding, you name it. Haute Hippie is so versatile, which is why it is the best place to shop!
